My husband and I live on a 100 acre farm in rural Georgia, U.S.A. We have 2 grown sons and grandchildren.
We believe in a honest day's work for a honest day's pay, living debt free, and enjoying life. We also work long
and hard for a living.
Over the last 30 years we have build our homes ourselves. See more here: House building.
Some more of our projects include building a barn,
a rock bridge, a boat, a water wheel, a chicken coop/house . Most of the wood was sawed here on our old sawmill.
We also have built a large incubator and in the process of hatching baby chicks to sell at local livestock sells.
When I showed the chicken nest boxes on my site: Life on a Southern Farm, I had so many inquiries about if we sold the nest boxes that we decided to try and sell them on-line.
My husband has built metal nest boxes for years to sell and use here on the farm. He came up with the original idea of his fold up roost and we decided to give selling on-line a try.
So far it has been a fun and learning adventure.
We have sold over 50 100, 150 250 350 hen nest boxes as of May 11, 2009, June 15, 2009. July 10, 2009
